FINAL MAJOR PROJECT

UNIT 8 - BRIEF

In this unit you will be required to put all you have learned into practice and evidence your work accordingly. You will be externally assessed and graded with a Pass/Merit/Distinction. This unit will run for 8 weeks and you will be required to showcase your FMP in the first week of June. There will be no extensions or later dates to hand in as this needs to be sent off to the UAL exam board for assessment.

All work must be original using your own images/ sounds and footage.

Products to complete:

* Short Film 5 - 8 mins - (individual edit/ group filming/ shared pre-production)

* Poster - advertising your short film (individual)

* You must evidence/ document all stages and any developments in your FMP in order to gain merit/distinction level. Reflecting on every single stage is key with UAL. You will not even gain a pass if you fail to do this.

You can work in groups with a maximum of three people to produce a short film. You will need to individually identify your role within the group. All edits and posters must be individually edited for final submission. Individual roles will clearly need to be identified; if work has not been completed then it will affect the whole group.
